As an educator, John tailors his teaching to fit the specific needs of each student; incorporating elements of technical training, music theory, composition, and improvisation. While his primary instrument of instruction is piano, John is also well-versed in teaching elements of music to students with a variety of different instrumental and vocal backgrounds. While foundation is necessary, at the end of the day a good teacher always has the mentee's goals at the forefront of their approach.
